Really unfortuante Sanchez died at his peak. Azumah proved a worthy successor, however. If Sanchez doesn't die, it's pretty certain Juan Laporte would have never won a world title as he would have been Sanchez's next opponent. I could see Azumah fighting for the vacant WBC title if Sanchez eventually vacated and moved up.
Sometimes people tend to get over rated when they die young at the peak of their powers. It`s not the case with Sanchez. I can`t name too many as good as him. Loved his fighting style. The rematch would have been interesting. Azumah was a bit green and he may have gained some confidence from doing as well as he did. With that said Sanchez would of also had a better idea of what he was dealing with. Nelson was one of those guys who had unusual talent and can`t really know until you go through it.
