This fight goes the distance and its a draw ... they both throw good accurate punches and they throw alot of em.

This is hard to tell ... i'm going with a draw because I can't see one dominated another.

If I had to choose a winner though ... I would go with Sanchez just because he had a tad bit more force with is attack and wouldn't stop. You can catch Arguello coming in and he bounced too much for my taste but a helluva fight non the less.

Arguello always bounced ... i'm not saying that he did it the whole fight but he was a lighter guy and bounced on his toes quite a bit.

Have you seen him fight before?

Arguello was an upright righter ... who threw alot of punches and was quite accurate.

Sanchez was the same way but was longer and a bit fast.

Arguello was one of the first if not the first 3 time world champion(s).

    Sanchez wins a close decision.

I know this is coming from a Sanchez fan, but I'm also an Arguello fan.

I believe they would have a helluva fight, maybe even a draw.

Sanchez's counterpunching skills and chin would win the day.

He was a stalker who'd hunt you down looking to time you and land the big blow, or else slow you down with a good body attack to get to you late. I assume everyone bounces every now and then, but Arguello was not one to do it often, certainly not one to make an opinion off based on. That's kinda like saying Chavez bounced a lot because he did to regain his composure at times. Everyone does that, but Arguello was no Camacho or Leonard. He was actually quite awkward with his length to go with his build, not one to use excessive movement as part of his forte.

I think Fitz was the first to win world titles in 3 weight classes, then Canzoneri, then Armstrong.

With the whole load of organizations and different weigh-in procedures, it doesn't mean quite as much as it did in earlier times.

I think Hearns was the first champ in 4 weight classes. Arguello tried but lost to Pryor.

The 5'7 Sanchez was longer than the 5'10 Arguello?

And no, Arguello was certainly not the first, or even one of the first, 3 weight champions.

Oh, you must've meant that other kind of bouncing that boxers do in the ring.

i'm not trying to debate ... i respect both fighters ... i hope those links help you understand somewhat of what i was trying to say ... what you're saying is right but what i'm saying is not wrong.

His style was up right ... he was good on his toes (bounce in his step) and pivoted well ...

I didn't mean dancing ... i mean the bounce you have when you square up, when you pivot, all the lighter weight fighters have it ... i'm not talking about in and out bouncing ... its like what SS Mosley does ... what he did in the latter rounds against Cotto.
