    It’s already been 40 years since the great Salvador Sanchez’s faced up and coming fighter Azumah Nelson, who would end up becoming a great fighter himself. This was one of the most memorable fights of the 80s with nonstop action. It would also be Sanchez’s last fight before his untimely death but what a fight it was.

    Every thread that mentions Azumah Nelson I notice that Olu is always there to support his "uncle". I'm really not sure what to believe. :lol:

    I am proud of my Uncle Azumah for his career, the man he is and what he means to all of us from the African continent. God bless him on the 40th anniversary of this epic fight. I know up there in heaven that the greatest Mexican fighter of all time Salvador Sanchez is smiling especially in the manner in which Azumah Nelson’s career honours the career of Sanchez.

    If you don't mind me asking how exactly are you related to him? Is he your father's brother or you mother's brother or related to a cousin? When was the last time you've seen him and have you had any fond memories of him first hand? And do you also have a picture of you and him? I'm just so curious. You don't seem to mind people calling you a liar nor do you seem to deny that you might be lying as well.

    We are distantly blood related from the West Cost of Africa. So technically we are distant cousins however due to our culture it would be taboo for me to refer to him by name directly hence we use the honorific of Uncle. He is Uncle Azumah to me. I don’t give a **** what Internet warriors call me because if they see me face to face and abuse they get what’s coming to them. I try to see him whenever I visit Ghana. I am only answering you because you are polite unlike others here. I don’t put pictures of myself on ESB as this is not a dating site.
