Can the bantamweight great pull an upset?
15 rounds at featherweight. Who do you like and why?

    Salvador is 5' 7 ", Jofre is 5' 4".

Jofre had trouble with Fighting Harada at Btm...losing twice.

But he did beat Legra & a faded Vincent Saldivar at feather.

Doubtful Jofre could hurt Sanchez who is just a bigger man....with an iron jaw.

    Sanchez by UD .

I'd see Sanchez pulling a "Harada" on Jofre. The difference being, he's a bigger man and a stronger puncher than Harada. I see a late round stoppage. I know Jofre was never stopped, but neither was Gomez until he fought Sanchez.

.............Having never seen the featherweight incarnation of Jofre, it's hard to say.

I don't see it being like Harada-Jofre at all; Sal just wasn't that aggressive. Tough fight for him I think, as Jofre had very long arms and a good jab, which would pose problems for Sanchez.

I think Sanchez eventually figures him out and presses in the late rounds for a unanimous decision, but it's not an easy fight.

Apart from being above his best division, Jofre was also past his prime when he was at 126lbs. He retired at age 37, which of course is acient for a featherweight.

Jofre only lost to one man in 78 fights and Sanchez doesn't fight at all like Harada, but the size difference is too much for any kind of edge this version of Jofre would hold over Sanchez.

A UD or very late stoppage for Sanchez.

Sanchez for me, really because of how good he was in the big fights at 126

Sanchez fought to the level of his competition and exploited whatever weakness they had. If you watch the fight with Gomez (a great but smaller man), he showed plenty of aggressiveness.
