Salvador Sanchez vs Jeff Fenech, at 126 lbs, Prime For Prime. Would Salvador out box Jeff ? Or would Jeff bull his way in to win? This fight is scheduled for 15 rounds.

Sanchez takes Fenech apart. Jeff's style was made for Sal to shine. Don't get me wrong, it'd be a GREAT fight... but Sanchez walks Fenech into too many counters, and eventually it becomes too much for Fenech.

    Sanchez TKO 11-13.

True, Salvador Sanchez challengers were well known and better, he would be well prepared.

Sánchez feasted on fighters that liked to come to him and fight aggressively. That is where he shines the most and I have no doubt that he would have painted a bloody picture on Fenech. Fenech would make a valiant effort but Sanchez’s counterpunching and precision would eventually wear down Fenech and most likely get stopped by Sanchez

Salvador Sanchez would make this fight against Jeff Fenech a very frustrating evening, this fight would resemble the title winning fight for Salvador, when he rested the WBC Title from Danny Little Red Lopez on Feb 2 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona by TKO 13. Fenech like Lopez would come at Salvador very aggressively throughout the contest only to be countered time and again. the movement of Sanchez would prove too much to overcome. I like Sanchez by a TKO 10.

Yep, got to go with the consensus here, much as I love Fenech. Sanchez is all wrong for him and, quite frankly, just a better fighter in any case. Fenech's got guts, incredible stamina to keep coming forward and was never afraid to let his hands go. The problem is that Sanchez excelled against these kind of fighters, and was a master of letting his opponent do all the work and smartly cashing in on their aggression.

Not as if Sal was lacking in strength and stamina, either.

Would be a great spectacle for a while, but I think Sanchez takes over eventually and takes Fenech apart late on. Sanchez by TKO in the championship rounds.

Sanchez was a level or two above Fenech. And as others have noted Fenech's style of fighting was exactly what Sanchez shined brightest against.
This fight wouldn't get past 10 rds.
Sanchez’s counters , stamina, chin , quick feet, and underrated punching power would overwhelm Fenech.
Fenech's bravery would carry him through early on in the fight but he would Clearly be outclassed by any reasonable observer watching.
By the 8th or 9th rd the referee would have no choice but to stop the fight after his corner throws in the towel, Fenech would be bloodied and battered by Sanchez, and Clearly beaten.
A much better hypothetical fight would be Fenech vs Danny Lopez. To see this fight would be worth a mortgage payment or two.
After this fight your adrenaline level would be up so high, you wouldn't sleep at all the rest of the night.

I think you guys might be shorting prime Fenech. My money is on him giving Salvador a hard, grueling 15 rounds of pressure and more pressure and making it a rematch worthy fight while coming up a couple of points short.

Sanchez has the style advantage and was just a flat out better fighter overall

You know I'm going to go against the grain.
I agree from a boxing standpoint Sanchez is more skilled.
But Jeff was tremendously strong and I feel stronger physically then Sanchez.
I think it would be a great fight but Jeff would maul Sanchez to get a close decision.
And while Jeff wasn't the boxer Sanchez was he was underrated as a boxer.
Lets not forget Jeff out muscled Nelson in the first bout and Nelson was very strong.

Jeff was very strong, quite true. Salvador Sanchez did stop Azumah Nelson on July 21 1982 in round 15 in New York's Madison Square Garden, where Jeff could not, but I do respect your post.
