    Say what you want, this is no pick em.

    Fenech would be walking into counter after counter. And while Fenech chin, it's not like he had a Lamotta chin - it could be cracked.

    Sanchez is the worst possible matchup for Fenech.

    Jeff Fenech’s style is tailor made for a counterpunching maestro like Sanchez, who always thrives on fighters who come to him aggressively. Fun fight, albeit a one sided fight that will have Fenech stopped within round 9.

    Even if he was no ATG he made a good account of himself as a boxer and left the sport with his head held high.

    He was a past prime playboy alcoholic by the time he fought Fenech. I'm not saying he would beat Fenech at his best (he definitely could) but the fight that happened doesn't really tell us anything at all imo.

    Fenech is stylistically tailored for Sanchez. He'd be getting those ramrod jabs and sneaky overhand counters all night long.
