i think it would be close. a green azumah nelson pushed sanchez almost to the limit and i could imagine the ferocity of the pac that smashed barrera giving sanchez a really tough fight. but given his struggles with jmm i think that someone with the counterpunching skills of sanchez would have to win, surely... shane he died so young, he might have been a true atg or he might have completely burned out like some young champions, no one knows. but i think he would have been special.

He would handle Pacs power no problem... He walked thru Nelson,Danny Lopez and Gomez shots... And Gomez and Lopez hit even harder than Pac.

Sanchez is all wrong for Pac, if Morales outboxed him just imagined what Sanchez would do. Also Sanchez and Marquez were kind of similar but Sanchez wasnt vulnerable to going down he had a rock chin, plus he was even better than Marquez. Of any of the fantasy matches ive seen Pac in this is the one where id bet the Ranch against Pac.... Pac would win some rounds when Sanchez cruised but once Sanchez but it into high gear hed put on a boxing lesson..... Sanchez by clear decision or maybe even late tko over 15 rounds for Sanchez especially if Pac goes balls out and tries to ko Sanchez.

I'll give manny the benifit of the doubt and say he gets to the end of the fight. But honestly I don't even think it would be close. Frankly I think its a stretch to say he doesn't get knocked the fight out. And thats coming from a huge Pac fan. Salvador Sanchez was a rediculous machine and in my opinion on his way to becoming the best boxer of all time. Or dam near close.

Sal was great but hes inconsistent at times, he had some close calls as a champion against guys who werent that great. His death really propelled him to legendary status but the way he fights, he was another great Mexican whos career could have been filled with far too many wars. Someone had already mentioned that a 10 fight green Azumah Nelson gave him all that he could handle.

Gomez was his greatest victory but then again Gomez was never good at 126. Red Lopez was a good fighter but he was a defenseless slugger at times.

In saying that, I think he could have beaten Pacquiao who was often very wild at 126 and was prone to good counter punchers such as Sanchez. I doubt that he stops him though.

Yes, but Sanchez had power in both hands, great footwork, accuracy, timing, and speed.

    This.

I would think Sanchez would have a couple of rounds to figure Pac out but just as Morales did first fight, he will figure him out.

I also think Sanchez was better than both Morales and Marquez, and that's saying alot.
