I'm a fan of both MAB and Azumah. Nelson looked great in that fight. I believe that that version of Nelson beats any version of MAB.
Sanchez wins but Pac doesnt go down without a fight, i think this would be similar to Sanchez-Nelson but without the late round stoppage in Sanchez favor, Sanchez by decision in a thriller.
Sanchez would stop Manny in the 13th or 14th. I've always thought so even when Pac was in his prime. Sanchez would do likewise to JMM. Both he would tko in the classic championship rounds of the past. The real championship rounds. This post would get an argument I'm sure from the Pac and JMM nuthuggers in the general forum.
I'll go even further and say that Sanchez was the greatest Mexican champion, even more than Chavez, who I rate over Pac and JMM for that matter.
Sanchez is a great fighter...maybe Mexico's finest. But I would go with Chavez... I suppose it's popular now to call Pacquiao a bum, and that's total bull****...the truth is any fight with Pacquiao is a baptism of fire due to the speed, aggression, power and unorthodox movement. It is something that most fighters haven't ever experienced and it would be a shock, first and foremost, because you could not prepare to face it...and adjustments would have to be made in the heat of battle in order to overcome. Pacquiao is a real live wire...
Pacquiao is tough to discuss in fantasy fight things, because we essentially saw two Pacquiaos in the breadth of his career. The smaller version, perhaps a bit devoid of the smooth skills of later years, but full of power and energy; and then the bigger version, whose power didn't mean as much but also boxed better and made better use of the right hand.......that later version was a more finished product, but for this matchup it's a moot point because THAT Pacquiao had long left the featherweight ranks. Sanchez beats the Pacquiao that we saw at featherweight rather handily. He wasn't a finished product then.
