Not that any of the guys mentioned are 'todays featherweights', he beats all of them, Naz, all of today's guys.....Hell, in terms of FW history there aren't any I'd pick against Sanchez!

Maybe not an ATG but a man who could genuinely change a fight with one punch, he was dangerous throughout the whole fight and Sanchez took him apart.

The win over Wilfredo Gomez was just as big a win as Ali's over Foreman, as that was the reputation Gomez had at the time.

Sometimes it's not just who you beat, but how and when you beat them. Sanchez beat a prime Lopez when he was just a kid! He beat a prime Lopez who was the dominant man at 126, and looked like he would reign over the division for at least a couple more years. In my book that's way Sal gets so much credit for that win.

Sanchez beat a prime Gomez and Azumah Nelson, I doubt that Pacquiao would last the whole fight.

Eric and JMM would be the most competitive

Gomez was a bad mother ****er whith an aura of invincibility, but he was coming up in weight so I don't think that Ali/Foreman is a good comparison.

But Sanchez litteraly broke his face none the less, fractured cheek bone and brutal ugly KO.

    Sanchez beats all three.

Barrera, Morales and Marquez would all be decisions, Marquez would be the most difficult but a knockdown of Marquez would separate the 2.

Sanchez TKO11 Pac due to Pac's aggressive nature and Sanchez's deadly counterpunching and heavy hands.

yep. i think Sal's power is underrated, not a K.O artist, but a seriously hurtful puncher in the Mexican tradition. Even his taps would cause a mark, and his unorthodox combinations would daze and...well **** UP his opponents.

to Bronx, I was referring to Gomez's reputation as a killer of even great opposition (I believe Zarate was 54-0 (53) going in and even though he was moving up in weight, it was thought he would be very competitive) and his indestructible aura at that time. As always, Sanchez's expression didn't change!

No -- his expression never changed! That really PISSED ME OFF in the Lopez fights! Here this kid is -- in the ring with one of the hardest banging featherweights of all time, and his expession was that of a guy ordering pizza! Mother****er!!

Eh, Sanchez would do to Pacquiao what he did to Gomez - knock him the **** out. Pac would be beaten up worse than when he fought Rustico Torrecampo.

Sal beats ALL OF THESE GUYS, NO QUESTION.
