Tapia was a warrior but he gets picked apart and stopped very late imo..

Sanchez is bigger than Tapia, and better than Tapia. Sanchez would punish Tapia. Likely a late KO for Sanchez. But, admittedly, Tapia was a hard man to stop, so it may go to a decision. No way in hell Tapia comes out ahead in this matchup.

Wasn't Tapia's prime at superflyweight? I have a hard time imagining this one being competitive. Sanchez has at least 5-6 wins over guys I'd pick over Tapia.

Sanchez is on another level, and bigger. Mid to late ko for Sal.

Sal would give Tapia a terrible, terrible, terrible beating.

Sanchez TKO 8 in a very one sided fight.

Weird how some of these fighters have religious names such as Salvador which means Savior in Spanish and Jesus, pronounced Hehsuse in Spanish, when their profession is to obliterate the other person's humanity [as Mexican announcers say] in the ring. Not quite what their parents intended when they gave them those names we can safely assume.

I think Tapia is more overrated than people in this thread feel. If Sanchez can stop the iron chinned Nelson, trust me, he can stop this overrateddope fiend who had no business at 126.
