I knew Sam A. Petchyindee acadamy was attached to the old Lumpinee stadium near where I use to live. Sometimes I’d run with him in the morning in Lumpinee Park. Great fighter very technical, one of the best of his generation. A lovely guy to, very soft hearted very kind.

Towards the end of his heyday about 4 years ago there was a whole group of great fighters in around or fighting on the Peychyindee cards...Singdam, Nong O, Singmanee, Superlek, Yodwicha, Petpanumrung, Pornsanae etc. It was an intersting time that MT history will view well. A lot of the guys that fought out of the Petchindee acadamy now live in Singapore and train MMA guys in Evole MMA. It’s owned by a Thai. They have slot of guys that compete in One championship. https://evolve-mma.com/classes/muay-thai/ In fact if you scroll down and look at that list it reads like an ATG list of that period of 2012 to 2014...the guys above and guys like Penek from the south Petchunboo etc. Probably one of the best places in the world for MMA guys to cross train MT....every trainer a young and still fighting fit ATG.
yeah I seen he's now fighting with one championship, I like how evolve mma run things, some knowledgeable trainers amongst them Yeah if you're an mma fighter and you want to cross train you'd be silly not to get yourself down to evolve, that is some list isn't it
Just rewatched the HL...I was at some of those fights, definitely the fight against Penek. I even think if you go to 2.18 look bottom right ringside, white guy clapping...pretty sure that could be me. That was the last days of the old Lumpinee and was there a lot around that time. In fact we used to have a thread on here about weekly Perchyindee cards at exactly that time and lots of threads about Thai MT scene between 2012 and 2015. Lots of stuff on Sam A.

enjoyed it for years mate, but started training MT about a month a go Yeah good channel, I also enjoy Muay Thai pros and Lawrence kenshins videos
Well good luck with the training. Keep smashing the pads! Lawrence Kenshin goes abit over board sometimes about stuff I don't always agree with him but it's an honest channel, some great MT channels for the golden age stuff with some of the greatest bouts ever are: GK from MTA, Boxing Works, Muay Ties. I used to rum a similar channel with similar content but more of it and got closed down.
