All things considered, it's not a bad list. The heavyweight division looks pretty pathetic when you put it on paper like that, though.

Yep. You the division is not that strong when guys like Carwin, Hardonk and Kongo are in the top 10. They could do with scouting some new Heavyweight talent or bringing in some established fighters. Their other divisions are doing fine so i think they should pay some attention to their weakest one.

well , thing is...some of their fighters left the division , and others are fighting outside of the ufc.

Imagine this...if they would somehow reunite every single HW fighters in a single organisation (or at least in 2 different orgs)...then it would be much more interesting for everyone.

The major problem is that zuffa has a "exclusive" mentality and they'll never send their champs fight outside of the octagon. The only reason why Arlovski is fighting Barnett is because he's no ufc fighter anymore.

If that guy was still under contract , it would never happen.
(same goes for sylvia vs fedor)...These fights can only happen without a ufc contract.

It's annoying because then you have someone like dana white who claims this or that fighter sucks , or simply ignores other top fighters and pretends as if they don't matter.

Wouldn't it be great to see a superbowl type of event , some sort of mega Grand Prix in which you'd have the best 10 fighters of every different mma org fighting each other for the belt ?...

    I'm afraid it'll never happen.

Who can the UFC realistically add to their heaveyweight roster? Bigfoot Silva maybe? Mark Hunt? I dont know if theres any talent out there to get excited about.
-Bartnett is in UFCs bad books still
    -Fedor...no
    -Randy...lol
-Arlovski...? Having just dropped him, unlikely

Without sugar-coating it, UFC's heavyweight division is plain ****. Definitely not the place with the best fighters, as Dana promised it to be.

I never realize how bad the UFC heavy division is until you actually put it down on a list like that. That is pretty bad.

Whattcha laughin at? Lesnar has a victory over a legitimate top 10 heaveyweight and gave former UFC Champ Mir a beatdown before getting caught. It happens. Lesnar is no joke.
