    Shame that he went out on a loss, but its the right move. Dude gave this sport his all and honestly, he had one hell of a career.
    He started at the bottom, and every time he took a step up in class he got knocked back down. However, he persevered and kept climbing upwards, eventually becoming a British champion and then European champion.

    First saw him on one of those Prizefighter tournaments a good ten years ago. Always liked his clobbering style. All heart.

    I'm sad to see him go but this is definitely the right decision. He will go down as a cult hero of British boxing, if you could win titles based on heart and fighting spirit alone then Eggington would be an all time great. Wishing him the best of luck in his future endeavours.
