Paulie isn't as mobile as Skeete, and Paulie isn't nearly as tall, it'll be competitive, but Sam will catch Paulie far more than he caught Skeete.

Will be interesting to see how it pans out, just think Paulie is a level above the Eggington's of the world. No disrespect to Eggington by the way he's made a good career for himself

Don't disagree with you at all, but I thought Gavin was a level or two above him as well, and still picked Sam by KO, and I am again, although a schooling from Paulie wouldn't shock me in the least. I'm actually more pumped for this match than I am Haye-Bellew, its far more competitive.

Thank god for this and the Matthews-Davies fight, makes me feel a little less sick about the amount I've spent on tickets especially if the Haye-Bellew fight ends early

I expect even this version of Paulie to do a number on him and escape the judges with an SD.
I don't like Paulie at all, but I don't rate Eggington very highly.

Sam will bludgeon Paulie into a pile of ghoulish looking half eaten plate of Rotini with mushrooms and Italian sausage.:deal:

I hope so, but I just can't see it.

I think Paulie will eat enough shots over the first half (that he'll win) until he gets worn down and stopped in the 8th or 9th. Sam isn't that great, but at this point I rate Gavin around the same level as Paulie, although I could be wrong.

I'd love to see Paulie leave the arena with egg(inton) all over his face and then complaining about being wronged after ;)

I'm holding out hope that Paulie can still beat a guy like this. His hand speed on counters is slow and his offense is too predictable and basic. Not good things against Paulie. I like a Split/Majority decision either way, if not a draw, but I'll ride with my boy Paulie despite being I believe it's a 220 underdog.

Gavin was beating eggington in the rounds he wasn't getting hurt in and that was an out of shape Gavin who had no business to mentally be in a fight. If Paulie is 70% of his old self he should be able to squeeze out a points win.
