Fancy Sam Eggington to get a points decision, Frankie is on a different level skill wise but Sam is massive at the weight. But my predictions with Frankie aren't the best because I really thought that Denton Vassell was going to beat him!!

Depends what Gavin has got left.

Brook beat the p*ss out of him, he lost to Bundu, he's had to be disciplined in getting down in weight (who knows how that has affected him?), and he looked poor against Skeete - so who knows what he has left?

Eggingto might just be getting overlooked in this one methinks.

So much for him going down to light welter then?

Still ramming beans on toast down his gob then.

I really don't think we've seen the best of Eggington, whereas Gavin is still gonna be trying to compete a weight above where he should be against a very big, tough, ambitious, young and aggressive up and comer. Eggington by late stoppage for me.

I really don't think Gavin is half as skilful as a lot of people go on about. He dines out on the fact he was a world amateur champion but I've never really been that impressed with him as a pro. He's struggled badly against limited fighters like Curtis Woodhouse and Bradley Skeete. He also got put down by a random African who'd never fought out of Namibia ffs. If he's that skilful a fighter like that shouldn't be landing a glove on him.

Eggington will bully him physically and beat him up in the late rounds. This 'too soon' stuff is boll ocks.

What did Gavin ever have at pro level is the question for me?

    Some good points there. :good

Massive respect to Curtis, but in theory he shouldn't have gave Gavin a hard fight. You're talking about an ex-footballer and one of the worlds best amateurs.

But I think you hit the nail on the head with your "dine out" comment about it. The amateur style has never left him, and it hasn't transferred over that well.

If Eggington was to stop him, he'd have no other option but to retire.

    Nothing really.

I always thought that his fight against Lomax was his best performance bar none.

Can that be done? If so, he should consider it. But how good are the WW's there today?

That class of '08 is doomed, IMO.

    Price is a goner.
Gavin is a goner. (he was supposed to go etc).
Chunky persevered (fair play to him, because it wasn't looking good for him at a time) and he did well.
Murray is a goner (always liked him as well).
Yafai will have a good future.

    True, forgot about him.

He won't get past Lee, IMO. If he does, Cotto/GGG etc will handle him with ease.
