Never a bad headline either. Lives the life. When you consider he turned pro to be a journeyman it's even more impressive. Some credit to Jon Pegg who genuinely cares for his fighters.
His career looked over four years ago but since then he's lost a controversial one to Cheeseman and a title defence on the other side of the world that he said paid off his mortgage. He's always in wars and sad to say he'll probably have to pay for it in time but in the meantime full credit to perhaps the most exciting British fighter of recent times.
Eh you, Tomato can haha. I know Jay, game as they come. He took that on two weeks notice a few days after fighting Lacey. Got to give him praise for that. He’s better than his record but yes, he was always going to lose that. Levels. Briefly saw the ko it reminded me of Bellew Makabu and Smith Eubank, both text book left hooks. Eggington’s problem has always been blocking shots with his face, it’s the only reason he lost to that one who recently quit against Liam Smith. Always proper entertaining.
Eggington was probably hurt the most by Mick losing the Channel 5 deal- he was involved in some right tear ups on the channel.
It's criminal not one of the major UK outfits are not currently featuring him on undercards right now Esp considering some of the current output from all of them Sam is pure entertainment and that's why we all watch right?
Eggington vs Benn at 154, I reckon he could cause Benn some real problems if he stays relatively out of range early on.
