    Round 6

It has really been a case of much of the same for the last few rounds - a test of patience for Goodman, who is holding up for the time being in a challenging fight against the undefeated Chinese prospect Liu. Still no real significant shots to swing the bout in either fighter's favour. Have to give Liu a lot of credit here for really making Goodman work for every shot he lands.

    Round 7

Goodman briefly lands a few shots with Liu on the ropes as the crowd makes some noise but it is a brief moment of success for the Australian as Liu slips away immediately. That has been the story of the fight so far. Liu is landing some shots of his own, including a beautiful straight left hand, shortly before the round comes to an end. Onto the eighth.

MP England won that fight. That's why he was paying that much. Because if it went to the score cards, and it did. The Rose bros would have it covered.

England was robbed of a World Title shot.

    Round 8

Goodman lands a beautiful right hand. Liu though is unfazed and continues operating as if nothing has changed and it hasn't for most of the fight, which isn't surprising given Liu's different style - and upper body movement in particular - has proven quite the puzzle to solve and made things tough for Goodman to adjust on the fly.

    Round 9

Much of the same in the ninth round. Goodman is on top but Liu with the same movement and same approach so he hasn't shown any signs of fatigue or weakness. Goodman will get the job done at this rate but it's not a statement of any sorts.

Of course, Fox Sports Australia is biased for the Aussie.

    Round 10

Goodman actually starting to land some shots of note in this round, now working to the body and then mixing in some shots up top. Liu not getting much of anything in so far but again he doesn't look to be fatiguing or at any risk of being dropped.

    Round 11

Looks like this is going to a unanimous decision win for Goodman at this rate. He doesn't really need to take any risks to get the win and at this stage Liu isn't threatening to cause a late stoppage either. Goodman has a great right hand and strong shot to the body to open the round but outside of that again there weren't any real moments of significance that signalled any premature end to the fight. Liu looks set to go the distance.

    Round 12

And as expected, this one goes the distance. Liu - the puzzle that could not be cracked - proved a tough test for Goodman, who will remain undefeated but doesn't get the finish that some were hoping for.

Let's hope Aussie Fox Sports is just willing this to happen, and it doesn't reflect what was actually happening in the ring.

Liu needed to kill him to get a SD.

Jesus ****ing Christ, the RBR from Fox Sports constantly saying how tight it was and what a riddle Liu was, and this happens.....

Goodman gets the win via UD (119-109, 118-111, 120-108).

Hey, this is a good thing, now he'll have the honor of having his profoundly annoying face torn from his body by The Monster.

I'm a Goodman supporter but man his boxing style is like watching paint dry.

'The mad bunch' are hardcore if they've traveled to watch his whole career.
