    Who would prevail between the irresistable force Langford, and the immovable object George Chuvalo at their peaks 15 rounds ? What say you ?...

    very nice matchup. overall i consider langford my #1 lb 4 lb fighter ever but something is telling me to lean towards chuvalo in this matchup. tough fight to choose.

    This is a tough fight for both Canadians, Langford would be landing quite often early on and Chuvalo would hit whatever he could body included....Chuvalo would not be stopped unless swollen and bleeding....I think I like Sam taking a decision but Chuvalo a rough customer

    What a brutal fight.
    Chuvalo was as strong as a grizzley, so Langford would have his hands full. I'll have to try and break this fight down. Off the top of my head I'd say Langford by decision, but an in shape Chuvalo would give him a real dog fight. What a great match-up Burt...

    Langford via late TKO. Chavalo did not last long with vs. Foreman, or Frazier. I think Langford hit harder than Frazier.

    Sam's The Man in this one I think, left hooks would thud into George's face and body all night.George, being George goes the route, but looks like Frazier did after the FOTC.Sam by clear dec.

    Langford-Chuvalo would look like someone going at a lump of rock with a pickaxe - and gradually bits would break off and the rock would eventually be blitzed by the guy smashing it with the pickaxe - Langford by stoppage - Chuvalo is just far too slow and far too limited - Langford would be like a whirling dervish by comparison he would be jumping in and out lashing in shots from every angle and no matter how tough Chuvalo was - no man can just keep taking shots

    Sam if Sam's in shape.

    Sam did have a tendency to blow off conditioning until it got to be a problem (Flyyn, Gunboat Smith), then get himself right for a brutal rematch.

    So, if the timing was just right, maybe George could beat Langford -- the first time.
