Langford is such an amazing boxer. His life story is one of the saddest yet most inspirational in boxing history. If the general public had more interest in boxing, you could make an amazing movie on him. I know he went blind but i didn't know his eye surgery was successful. Wow. Glad he could see in his later years.
Awesome video. Being able to see the birds and the young girls going by! Life is pretty darn great if you appreciate the little things it offers you. This made me smile. Thanks for posting it.
That nickname is truly unfortunate. I really wish he was known as the Boston...anything else. Anything less cringe worthy. Absolutely insane that he was effectively rendered half-blind in Fulton I and yet fought on for damn near a decade after that (nine years and two months, to be precise ...including all three victories over Fireman Jim Flynn, knockouts over Jeanette and Norfolk, several fights with Clark, and close to half of the installments of the bonkers 22 match Wills rivalry). What a warrior.
