Do you guys think Langford vs. Golovkin could possible be the best MW matchup of all time?

I understand the reasoning behind this ,but I think Langford was at his best around 175/180lbs .
It is assumed Langford took it rather easy on Ketchel when they fought because he was after a more lucrative title shot, whatever is the case Langford enjoyed a weight advantage in that fight.
Is Golovkin the monster he is portrayed as? Does he hit as hard/ harder than Jackson,McClellan, Robinson,Steele,Ketchel? Would he beat Tiger,Giardello,Hagler,Monzon,Greb?
I shall watch the fight Sunday morning ,maybe there will be some new pieces added to the jigsaw?

The fans would win for sure.

The weight obviously favors Golovkin on paper, but it would be premature to favor him.

Let him fight for it at the weekend!

Lamotta-Hagler would be pretty great. I pick Lamotta because of styles.

Golovkin is one of those fighters that, no matter who he fights, is ALWAYS interesting to watch.

I'm picking him weekend but it's a 60/40 fight imo. I don't think GGG has gotten any better over the last 3 years and Canelo has definitely improved.GGG by late stoppage, hope it lives up to expectations!

I normally would pick GGG but his weight has made me pretty unsure of him in this fight.

It would be a good fight for sure.

There's plenty of competition for "the greatest mw match-up ever" in fantasy sense though.
There's no end of great MW match-ups we could imagine I'm sure.

I think the fight is Golovkin's to lose. Should win going away if he uses his footwork and jab to take advantage of Canelo's limited mobility. If he gets macho and tries to slug it out with Canelo, he still probably wins but it greatly increases Canelo's chances.

Haven't seen enough of Langford. What about Hagler, Hopkins, or Monzon?

Interesting ,personally I think he should jump on Canelo right at the start.

Could work but I think that would be playing into Canelo's hands. I see Canelo as having better hand-speed and defensive skills, but very limited foot-speed and questionable stamina. Canelo's best punches are hooks and uppercuts from fairly close range, Golovkin is better off he get off his straight punches from more of a distance.

Just as long as it's a good fight with no controversial endings ,no fouls or cut eye jobs.
