Well if you drop a guy 7 times in 2 rds I think thats pretty conclusive myself.Especially if you fight him when he is still trying to be champ not after he has been wrecked by Dempsey.

Wow, 45-1 out of his last 46 fights going into the Marciano contest, is that right? That's pretty amazing all right, especially at that age. I probably shouldn't have knocked old Archie at all, I just really took exception to the comment that he'd have no chance against Marciano. He was obviously a very good fighter when he faced Marciano. Still, I have a hard time viewing any 38 or 39 year old as anywhere near their prime.

Yes, a film exists of Langford vs. Jeannette. I don't own a copy myself, but I've viewed it, and it's the best fight footage I've ever seen of Sam by far. It's unfortunate that it's not available for others to enjoy.

No, sorry, but they don't want to be identified.

I dont blame them! having a rare find like that, you can make some good money with that. I was the one who uploaded rare sam mcvea and carmine vingo footage to youtube. but until i see footage of langford vs jeanette, i have to go with the film i have on langford.....and make my opinioons there.
