I have a rare treat for you. Go to www.gaumontpathearchives.com and register to use their site. Once you are able to login select their Search feature and type in 'Langford'. It will be well worth any hassle involved, I promise you. Once you type 'Langford' into search it should bring up a selection titled "CM982 Match on Saturday Langford Joe Jannet". Click on that and download any software it says is required to view the video and you will find approximately 15 minutes of his December 1913 fight against Joe Jeannette in Paris. Outstanding footage. You'll witness Langford knock Jeannette all over the place near the end of the fight.

McGrain, apparently you have to send a fiver to a certain Greg Paterson, I can provide the address. To actuate your account to see the video.

Clay, great find, I'm just registering for it now. Can't wait to watch it.

McGrain, I think your problem is you are not fully registered yet, and will have to wait until you can log in.

I registered but it says something along the lines of "your registration has been recorded". Apparently you have to be fully registered to be able to view the videos. Wonder how long the validation process will take... Can hardly wait.

what happens do they email you to notify you when your registration is validated?? PS Clay do you know if the Iron Hague fight is around ??

Does anyone know what it means on the site where it says "Your Inscription is NOwadays Valid" ??

    and also

It does also say "Video Acces is restricted to broadcasting professionals"??? Does that mean unless you work in broadcasting you won't be able to view the video??

We need these questions answering Moylesey - let us know as soon as you can cheers

"what happens do they email you to notify you when your registration is validated?? PS Clay do you know if the Iron Hague fight is around ??"

I actually ended up emailing one of the parties listed under 'Contact' and they got back to me and confirmed by user name and password. Once I could login I just entered 'Langford' in Search and found the link to the film listed first. I also had to download something called Quicktime, but that only took a minute or so.

"Does anyone know what it means on the site where it says "Your Inscription is NOwadays Valid" ??" I got that first as well, once you get registered you ought to be able to figure out how to get to the movie.

"It does also say "Video Acces is restricted to broadcasting professionals"??? Does that mean unless you work in broadcasting you won't be able to view the video??" I don't think so, the person I reached there just said they won't sell a copy to private parties, but I was told it could be viewed on line.
