Sam Langford vs. Joe Jeannette fight film on-line

I said I thought it was called Ring Classics .
I have quite a few Blackhawk Super 8mm, I suppose you know all those too? No matter you know my opinion of you now, and yours doesn't matter. I am an old feller now, but if you called me a liar face to face you'd see a better fight than any Greb was ever in.

 

Heard a lot about the Carpentier-Jeannette and Hague-Langford films but it seems like they aren't as widely spread as I was led to believe, if they even exist at all.

Great to know that Langford vs Jeannette does though, even if I can't view it from that site. I'm sure I'll eventually come across it some day.

Well Mcvey I just find it funny that there have been three or four posts pertaining to Carpentier-jeanette over the last year. You have commented on all of them (go back and look) and suddenly you remember that 25 years ago you saw a film of the fight... Like I said above, prove it, otherwise its bull****.

 

I said I had seen clips of it, and I mentioned it before ,to Mendoza , I beleive ,though that may have been in a pm.It wasn't 25 years ago,that was the Langford/ Hague couple of rounds,I watched that before giving it as a present. I had no idea it was a rarity ,and the guy I gave it to I will see Tuesday night.I won't deny I would dearly love him to still have it ,[ ironically he was not a huge boxing fan], 1. So I can see it again,2. So I can post it, and 3. So I can ram it into your gob via the net.Wish me luck Charlton Heston.
