    I think...i'll pick Langford.

This is a great match-up. There's no reason Hagler can't win it. The thing is though, is Langford must hit so hard at this weight...Probably he couldn't stop Hagler, but if he's being out boxed he has that other option

Bottom line for me; in order to win Hagler must fight absolutley the right fight. Langford can lose the first few rounds, change tact and still win.

Hagler. You can count the people on one hand that can beat him, and though it would be close, Langford is not one of them.

Hagler would be sometimes very slow in ad******g his strategy.
Against Duran he fought an extremely bad fight, against Leonard just as bad.

Way too slow of a starter to afford mistakes.

I also think it hurts Hagler his ATG standing a little bit, part of being an ATG is being able to adjust mid fight. Hagler didn't do that very fast and it nearly cost him the Duran fight and it did cost him the Leonard fight.
He made up for it ofcourse with sheer quality in other areas, but he certainly wasn't a perfect fighter and not even a "true brawler"

great great post. said what I wanted to but better than I would have.

only thing i'll add is Langford's physical strength would be a serious difference here. hagler was a small middle and Langford was superhumanly strong. on the inside, he ****ing mauls marvin
