Langford drew with Barbados Joe Walcott at welter for the title, then moved up and fought
    at various weights as necessary.

What if Sam Langford and Marvin Hagler tangled at MW
with the title on the line?

    Who wins?

As much as I respect and admire Langsford's legacy, Hagler's skill set was more complete. Vague I know, but we're talking Hagler.

Hagler never impressed me as the most skilled guy, but because he was durable and had the right skill set here better ( A good jab, the punch Langford had little defense to avoid ) , I think he'd win a decision but I would not bet on it.

Langford best weight was not 160. More like 170-180.

Or maybe Hagler would become unraveled by Langford's aggressiveness and power and lose too many rounds.

Langford's skill set had to be pretty damn extensive to do what he did against some of those bigger men. You can't be small AND unskilled when you're in there with the big boys. Hagler never fought above middle and was troubled or even beaten by guys rising up to meet him. Langford's wins over Harry Wills and Sam McVea are probably better than any Hagler had.
