Boxrec will tell you:

How many times a fighter fought.

Roughly, how many of those fights were against world class opposition.

The time between the fights (if it was a few weeks, then you have to take that into consideration).

For how long the fighter fought past his prime, acting as a punch bag for younger fighters.

The fighters age when he was fighting world class opponents (lets say he was 17 or 18 in some cases).

If you are going to use boxrec as your main source, then try to get the most out of it.
