Yet another talented black fighter shafted by the politics of the times. Shame he never came along about 40/50 years later.

I have seen the footage of Langford on youtube and it got me thinking that maybe someone has a full fight or two of his on film.

author of his biography has claimed that he has seen a full fight of langford against joe jeanette. the owners of the footage do not wish to release it.
    just email him.

i remember colin saying sam looked like joe frazier except with the bobbing.
imo langford used various methods to get close...such as blocking parrying and small subtle slips.

Thanks. If you look at my signature, the gif is Langford Vs Jeanette so the fight must be out there just a shame that whoever has it wont share it.

I thought there was no footage of him. This selfish ***** should release it. Let's threaten him or something. LoL I joke of course.

Langford vs Bill Lang is probably the easiest fight to get. All rounds exist I think although the film is damaged at parts. Langford vs Flynn is out there as well but the quality is quite bad. As for other Langford fights, you're going to have to ask some collectors.
