Was it really worth the towel coming in with only a few seconds left?

Great fight though and huge credit to both men. Proper warriors.

 

Glad they didn't accept the towel. I'm all for corners protecting their fighters but at that point it's pointless and Stewart deserved to go to the cards even if he's not won.

 

Hard to say how much of it was him not respecting Stewarts power (which is clearly lacking) but you can't be that open higher up the levels as you'll be a KO waiting to happen.

 

This looks like a flyweight in with a welterweight

 

Good work to the body from Noakes

 

Think that's the key brother, in Teddy Atlas parlance, "take some air outta those tyres"

 

Ceglia does look the durable, stubborn type, gloves are held high, plus I'm not entirely sure that Noakes is quite the puncher his record suggests .

The Noakes power will be put to the test here as the Italian does look durable and awkward.

 

Young George done himself proud in there tonight passing the warrior code with flying colours.

Did look man v boy in there at times.

Hope he keeps developing and comes back stronger like Ricky Burns after a similar pasting early in his career against Johanneson.

 

I remember the Graham Earle upset win. Johanneson was a terrific fighter when he was on song though , no shame in losing to him

 

Talk about an anti climax.

 

Smart move from the Italian, it was one way traffic and he was just getting beaten up.
