Sam Peter Article on Front Page

I haven't seen anger like this since Karen used to write on here.

But Ted Sares is on vacation, so I think they're scraping the bottom of the barrel, I guess.

 

Ted Sares is professionalism at it's finest. I usually enjoyed and or learned something from Paul McCreath's articles too (I think he goes by Hiker on the front threads).

 

Ted is a great writer. Agree or disagree, he writes excellent articles.

 

I don't mean it as a rap at Peter, rather a rap at the WBC. They made their own mess, they granted emeritus champion status to Vitali upon his retiring, then they had an eliminator with 2 unworthy HW's, then they somehow had another eliminator with McCall for God know's what reason........... it's pathetic. But no, Peter did what was asked of him twice, you're right.

 

Hopefully the WBC mess gets sorted out completely sometime in 2008

I think the article is dead on. Peter can't beat any of those fighters unless he cheats as usual. He AIMS for the back of the head.

i'm surprised this thread has not been closed yet. i've seen many threads that get closed because we cannot criticize articles.

i asked the admin for a justification and they said that the writers are relative newbies and that criticism would make them stop writing (which for me is a good thing).

anyway, i hope this threads does not get closed at all. we should be allowed to criticize aritcles as that would only make the writers better. they should be willing and able to defend themselves in writing those articles.

Just be glad Sam never actually landed a real shot against Wladamir and thus, ended his career three years ago. So, Einstein, tell all of us, in your great boxing wisdom, how Sam "cheated" in beating the living **** out of James Toney in the second fight and knocking Jeremy Williams into another life with a single shot?
