Funny how you place negatives on Witherspoon and Tubbs, citing losses from the 90s, as they were entering or had already entered the twilight of their meaningful careers.

Peter isn’t beating either of them in the 80s. Not a chance.

Peter sure lost to some ordinary guys, before retiring at the age of 36. This was round about the age Witherspoon and Tubbs were beginning to lose to ‘nonentities’ and “scrubs”, as you put it.

You must have a point here somewhere

Are you saying Maskaev, Toney, McCline and Williams would lose to Lionel Butler, Everett Martin and Jimmy Thunder?

    Oh, dear.

I can cite a 7 year stretch where Peter flattened everybody in sight except for Wlad Klitschko. A similar argument could be made for him. Even when Peter started to slip, you had to be somebody to beat him. The same can't be said for Tubbs, Spoon, Smith, Weaver etc.

    Chambers and Helenius aren't "ordinary".

Explain to me how this guy was a force in the HW division:

    Go ahead. Amuse me.

Peter would be sparked by Bruno and stopped by Mason. He only did ok because of the weak era he fought in .Just a big strong lump with poor technique and stamina.Plenty of HWs back then would of beat him guys like Damiani would of boxed his head off.

    Bruno might’ve folded against him.

Damiani was capable of a lot more than he accomplished but had nose and motivation issues.

I'm saying Peter never beat anyone worth two bob! I'm saying he never ko'd anyone who had a chin of any worth .
I'm saying you have been promulgating ridiculous arguments about him and trying to bolster them with the sort of circular logic that a chimp would be ashamed to employ.

    Clear enough for you?

He’s pretty much capable of doing what Bonecrusher or maybe Berbick did. Nobody would’ve guessed either of them to have won belts, but somehow they did.

Regarding Peter’s stamina, it wasn’t bad for his size early in his career. He outlasted Maskaev and McCline, went 12 with Wlad, and managed to outbox Toney over 12 in the rematch. That’s better than Bruno, Tate, Spinks or Damiani can say for themselves in terms of durability.

a title fight was 15 rounds in the 80s, so no you cannot with evidence say he can do 15 because he never has and puffs beyond 6. but you can for all the other names you think cant, because they DID it.

your only leg is bruno and damiani, with damiani a subgrouped HW titlist (new CW) and bruno carrying extra weight like... sam peter. and bruno and damiani came a little late on the scene to fight 15 rounders.
