I'm not going to knock your post, you provide good points in it. Though Peter is no different from fighters of yester year, Lewis, leaning on fighters back, Wlad, excessively holding, laying on fighters backs, Holyfield, Headbutts, Tyson, elbows/forearms, when throwing his hook etc..., he's no different than some of the greats.

Wlad proved himself, like Peter, he got off the canvas 3 times to win his fight. Though, Wlad has also proved mentally weak, more than strong, against Purrity, Brewster, and Sanders, where he fell apart when the going got tough. I got nothing against Wlads physical ability, but it's clear to most who have watched him over the years, the mans afraid to get hit, and when he is hit solid, he either falls or goes into a panic attack, which leads to believe he has a mental weakness that is still there and will resurface once again IMO.

I thought it was to vie for the WBC championship. But you're saying that's just icing on the cake of PolishPummler on ESB's opinion?

No denying this is the mecca of Boxing.

I do however disagree with the whole Peter vs McCline thing.America doesnt give a **** about Boxing period.

Wlad vs Iggy had the right promotion and im sure being on Conan brought in some non Boxing fans.

What do you disagree with in regards to McCline - Peter? :huh

Wlad on Conan was a good move. Too bad those who tuned in probably were turned off after 4-5 rounds.

I'd bet Golota has a good chance of beating Valuev and Chagaev. Just my 2 cents.

Maskaev is a tough and seasoned heavyweight. I don't see him falling to Peter.

Peter says to Don King and WBC, Help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they are trying! Oeg has an uphill battle. WBC has Peter the winner, but shouldn't they have the fight first?

Yea he took Sam's left hook alright. But not without spiraling to the canvas and drawing a foul like he was a guard in a basketball game.

Waldo can't take a flush powershot from Sam Peter. 96 clinches over 12 rounds attest to this fact. Rematch happens and Waldo is unable to clinch his way through 12 rounds he gets knocked out.

Oh and Waldo didn't knock McCline out. It was a TKO where McCline was gassed and losing the fight. He took a knee and his corner threw in the towel. BIG difference there. Nobody has ever knocked McCline OR James Toney out.

    What up Def...???

...was wondering if you have a stat yet on the number of times that KLIT stepped on IGGy's foot during the fight. I think the decrease in holds could be inversely proportional to the increased incidents of stepping on feet...

Vlad easily outboxed McCline. McCline could never have made it to the 12th round.

Peter was out of his feet in the 12th round. I sure hope there can be a rematch, easy knockout by Vlad.

Compared to Peter, look at Vlad's opponents.

Well technically Wlad has a TKO over him, just like Lewis had a TKO over McCall even though McCall never hit the canvas in their fight.

The "can take a good punch" part has been clearly debunked. He is very very vulnerable for an uppercut. I hope Oleg realizes this because he is 2-3 punches from knocking this cheater back down to the top 50.
