what exactly are the fans of vitali backing him for the win basing it on?

I would of said Johnson too based on skills alone, but what was his best win? Does he even have a good win? He was not in good shape when he took on Vitali, and it showed. At least Sanders gave him one hell of a fight early on, even rocking him a few times, Sanders at least has a very good knockout win over Wlad, thats why I have him as Vitali's best win to date, thats just my opinion though.

It's not Vitali's fault that Kirk trained at Dunkin' Donuts. It really didn't matter much as Johnson tried to be the aggressor & was beaten down for his efforts.

PlUGINBABIES, the reason so many people believe Vitali will beat Peter's fat ass is STYLES. Peter isn't nearly as fast a puncher as say Kirk Johnson or even Danny Williams and we all know how well those guys did when they VK.

Johnson had a good win over Maskaev back in 2000.

Johnson was terribly out-of-shape though against Vitali, a disgraceful non-effort.

At least Johnson was in semi-good shape a year earlier when he lost to Ruiz.

Your hate for V.Klit is astonishing and I was going to flame you for it, yet again. But when I read thru the list of choice and when I read Ovary, I could not help to Laugh out Loud.

Yes, Maskaev was a pretty good win, but I think we all could agree that Sanders win over Wlad was alot better and more notable. Johnson put up a half assed effort against Vitali, he showed no heart and got his ass kicked for it. Sanders proved he was tough and went toe to toe with Vitali through most of the fight, and the fight was stopped while he was still on his feet. I will take Sanders over Johnson any day of the week.
