Little *****? That's the best you got?

Golota's ship sank long ago. He fights smarter now but he's too old & too slow. Peter is going to try to do a Brewster on him early & you know that **** too.

Go ahead and bet the house on him if you're so certain he's a changed fighter. He went life & death against Mollo for Heaven's sake. He got extra points for toughing it out with a swelled shut eye but I'm just being realistic.

Actually, although I love Wladimir to death, I think his style is well suited for Andrew. What a jabfest that would be. :smoke

I can't beleive anybody cares? they both suck. David Haye would KO either man. In fact I think Hayle is the best heavyweight out there. Despite his lighter wgt.

Adamek would give Haye a boxing lesson. Muscules don't mean squat in boxing & thats all Haye's got. No style...no skill. Just haymaking power that a skilled fighter will avoid & counter those wild swings like crazy.

Damn the news of a possible fight with Peter is 1 day old and the thread is already this long. Golota sure is exciting, whether you like him or not.

I'll say Peter by close decision, but I'll root for Golota for the first time in my life. Probably a boring fight where Peter lands the cleaner punches and gets a lot of benefit of the doubt because he's the beltholder.

Golota if his mind is right and focused..
Should be able smash on Peter.
(that is the thing tho, Which Andrew will show up)

I hope this match happens it is very crucial for their carrear's.
(I think Both Fighters need this regardless of Samuel being the champ)

Peter has not looked impressive in his last 3...
and Golota has never truly lived up to his performaces of the Bowe fight's.

I'm getting exicted about this. I defo belive a K.O. is in order here.

Yep. Almost every Golota fight brings either drama, excitement, or both.

You forgetting the fact that this fight was years ago, this is now. Fighters change.... as did Andrzej Golota and even the man in your avatar.

Did you see the shots he took from Mollo? Especially the one that ****ed his eye up? Golota fought, and beat him CLEARLY with one eye. He knows its now to win and he wil no way try those dirty DQ tactics. Golota's dream is to win a title, not cheat nor quit.

Golota DID show a tremendous amount of grit against live-dog Mollo but let's not forget that Mollo is basically a clubfighter and punches nowhere near as hard as Peter. Peter won't be falling all over the place like Mollo was either. He'll be stalking Golota all night and he'll be throwing bombs. The fan in me wants to believe that Golota can stand up to the assault but the realist in me is telling me otherwise. DAMNIT!

Personally, I don't want to see this fight happen cuz I really like both fighters but at the same time, I realize that this is Golota's last chance at even securing a title fight let alone winning a title. Wladimir and Chagaev are busy and Golota wasn't on their shortlist of opponents anyway so this is it. I think Andrew Golota owes Don King alot. He's kept his career afloat and has given him chance after chance. It would be great to see Andrew finally come up big. There would be an ESB party for months.
