Quite a tough fight to call but seeing as Arreola is easy to hit and never comes into the ring in shape i would have to take an in shape Peter who still has a decent chin and good pop
Peter does have both chin and pop but I like Chris' combination punching and stamina better. Not that it's saying much compared to Peter's stamina. I've gotten the impression that Sam is one of those guys who is monstrously powerful in his big punches for a couple rounds, then peters out, so to speak.
Your right, combination punching could be a factor. But if Peter fights like he did against James Toney in their second fight. Putting hard combinations together and sticking the jab in Arreola's face then it will be a really tough fight for Chris. Sam showed that he could box a little in that fight as well.... can move on his legs. Arreola has really poor movement because he is so overweight all the time
Areolla he is faster and i think a better boxer better combos better counters peter brings alot to the table though good jab great chin and now that he is in shape again he can do big things and is still young enough to win a title. He can take the expereince and maybe win. Right now though Cris takes it
Sam does have some hope left he is one of the most experienced guys around the top who also is still young he has been in with chambers toney mccline maskaev both klitschkos so much knowledge now he has the motivation and shape
I wouldnt mind seeing this on FNF. Tough to call as Peter has had the more notable victories but hasn't done much lately, while Arreola is more or less in his prime. Also I think Arreola is the more active, more voluminous puncher. I will say Arreola by MD. This fight would be a good setup for a title eliminator versus Adamek that is being talked about for December. If Adamek wins against Grant, he can fight the winner of this fight as a title eliminator.
