The forum consensus is that Ngannou is better than a 2014 Chisora. Of the 17 who voted on my poll, 11 said that 2023 Ngannou was better.

Let's compare how Chisora and Peter did against their mutual opponents:

Peter vs Vitali, Peter loses every round and quits in 8

Chisora vs Vitali, Chisora goes the 12 round distance, officially wins as many rounds as Byrd and Lewis, 3rd toughest fight of Vitali's career

Peter vs Helenius, Peter gets KO'd in 9

Chisora vs Helenius, Chisora loses an extremely controversial 12 round split decision in Finland

Peter vs Pulev, Peter quits in 3

Chisora vs Pulev, Chisora loses a 12 round split decision in Germany and wins a 12 round split decision in Britain

Sam Peter was garbage. He had overrated power, a good but hardly iron chin, and those are the ONLY good things to be said about him.

Short, fat, crude, free-swinging, zero ring IQ, no ability to learn and improve, no movement...
