Sam peter would be knocked out by Frazier in 6-8 rounds. He would be knocked into next week by Louis in about 5. Sam Peter is far too crude and unskilled to have even a puncher's chance against these two ATGs.

Peter outboxed the hell out of the matured, experienced Toney, twice, who was barely past his prime. He would have alot more wins against the competition he faced if they were also free of steroids like himself. Peter is basically George Foreman but with more snap to his punches and ring iq, he crushes the 205 lb Frazier with his jab alone...

Louis is too chinny and lacking of defense to survive, he gets stopped in 3 rounds or less. Neither have even a puncher's chance, let's be real, Peter's chin was industrial grade titanium and he had a truly special ability to take the edge off punches in the most subtlest ways. Huge, literally huge, mismatch.

 

Sam Peter would be a tougher proposition than those two.

Hits much harder, and was actually a champion.

That said I don't think I would go as far as favour him over either. Certainly if Peter managed to land on either it could be goodnight, the guy was a truly ferocious puncher. To compensate for that, he was as crude as day old salami.

 

That might be the GOAT you are describing right there.

 

This isn't even taking into account Peter's commiment to humanitarian efforts in Nigeria, and therefore the world, performed without fanfare and applause. It's the things you don't see with Peter.
