While I like that he's a good guy, but whether a person is a church going, bible toting everyman or a criminal psychopath has no bearing in and of itself on whether or not they'd beat Fraizer or Louis.

 

Yeah but I don't think being a future minister had any bearing on him beating Joe Fraizer than if he had turned out to be a future serial killer.

 

How did we get from that to this? The point is, whether a fighter is a good or bad person doesn't mean they win or lose against any other fighter in and of itself. For instance, I'd pick Marciano who you describe as humble everyman who showed lots of love to everyone, especially women, to beat Lyle who was convicted of 2nd degree murder but not because Marciano was a good person and Lyle was a bad person. I'd pick a young Tyson, who ended up being convicted of **** to stop Ezzard Charles. Doesn't mean he's a better person than Ezzard Charles, but being realistically objective, in that one, I'd have to go with Tyson and their particular criminal records or lack thereof have nothing to do with my pick. Unless one can show me how it's relevant to how they likely would perform.
