Sorry, but Haye hasnt showed any of this against a top heavy. He's still unproven in this division. And if he meets a heavy who can punch back, his shaky chin will be tested.

 

I pretty much agree with you but the one thing with haye is that weak chin,, if peter landed that right that he landed on nagy it would be lights out,, now if haye had a stronge chin then haye would more than likely box circles around Peter without a doubt

 

What has that to do with today´s performance? I was referring to his perfomance today!

I´m not a hater. I like Peter a lot and, before the Wlad fight, I thought he could be one of the best in years. But he somehow never was the old Peter after that fight.

He's the reigning WBA heavyweight champion at 6'3" and around 220lbs. He boxed circles around the giant which is something seasoned heavyweights failed to do.

He's a heavyweight now. The nonsense has to end.

If being the keyword here. Haye is probably one of the most elusive heavyweights on his feet right now. Sure guys like Byrd and Chambers are hard to hit clean but there is a big difference here. That footwork is going to be hell on virtually ALL of these modern day heavyweights. Footwork does wonders for power, elusiveness and speed. Haye doesn't have to be near as strong as Peter to knock him out. He just has to be as sharp as a razor which he no doubt would be.

His "boxing" wide circles around a statue like Valuev didnt convince anyone but his closest nut huggers. Many other challengers gave Valuev stiffer fights.

Well, he did manage to do what John Ruiz couldn't get done. He looked a helluva lot better doing it than Chagaev did. Didn't we at one time consider both of those guys to be legitimate heavyweights?
