My point is you come on here and say peter just quits all the time,, so I guess you think that hands of stone Roberto Duran just quit all the time too?

 

1. He's supposed to be this murderous puncher.

Q: Who did he knock out of note?

2. He's supposed to have this massive chin and heart.

Q: Why did Jameel McCline floor him and had him on ***** street, aswell as Maskaev buzzing him badly, and on top of it quitting against Vitali whilst not really doing anything but lumbering in the ring?

3. He's supposed to be an underrated boxer, but who did he outbox of any real note?

Q:You bring up James Toney, but you dismiss the fact that Toney was arguably being beat by the likes of Batchelder, Rahman and Oquendo?

The brutal truth is that Peter never really was a boxer, but a lumbering clobber.

He was being used up as a walking heavybag for the likes of Wladimir and JCG in sparring sessions pre-"Foreman" hype.

 

Peters chin is not in question,, the dude took every shot wlad and vitali could throw and NEVER went down.

In the fight with McCline peter had a ruptrured ear drum that was confirmed by HBO and oh BTW did peter just quit then???? that answer would be NO yet again he picked him self up and went on to win.

Peter does not lack power he just lacks the skill to be able to deliver that power and lets not forget that he rocked Toney which I don't think anybody ever has before

As for Peters boxing skills I won't argue that he is crude but facts are facts and in the second fight he handed Toney his ass in a lunch pal and I don't care what anybody says, you don't hand out a asswhipping to toney if you can't box worth a ****

Is that Peters draw to fame, being able to beat Toney, the same man who arguably lost to both Rahman and Batchelder. Toney has never been hurt before? He was legitimately down for the count and hurt badly in his fight against Reggie Johnson.

The fact that Sam Peter buzzed him with a shot behind the ear, doesn't mean ****. At the end of the day, Sam Peter is a clobber who had to go rounds with a zombie version of Maskaev to get him out of there, only to be buzzed before inevitably stopping the zombie that Nagy took out of there in 1 round.

The same version Peter beat, Batchelder arguably beat.

So there you go, his claim to being an upper tier heavyweight comes from beating an old Toney who got a SD win against Batchelder

Peter is just awful no skill at all. He can't KO anyone worth a crap. Duva matched him very carefully early in his career.

Meanwhile, in the real world.. Peter quit like a dog on the stool, never won against legitimate opposition and was named the next George Foreman in 2004 after having scored a TKO win by clobbering punches to the back of the head of his opponent Silva.

He can't stop anyone of note, his claim to being a good boxer comes from beating the same version of Toney who arguably lost to Batchelder.

You know how I went to war with you and made a lifetime bet on the Vitali - Peter fight, you didn't honour your bet, but you're back here spewing garbage as per usual.

I see Peter's aura as being long since deflated. People will never get excited over him, again.

I think most boxing fans now realize that he has very overrated KO power and very limited boxing skills. He'll hover around for a while, doing what he does, but I don't ever see him getting a title again.

I think there are quite a few current heavies that would handily beat Peter.

 

And lets not forget Don Kings formidable trainer Stacey McKinley.
