The same fat middleweight with no power that knocked out Holyfield, had a draw with Rahman, and beat Ruiz. Pretty good for being fat middleweight dont you think?

He was 217 lbs against 40-year old Holyfield, not 233lbs as he was against Peter. When did Ruiz and one-hit wonder Rahman become world beaters?:lol:

I've said it before and I'll say it again, James Toney is NOTHING at heavyweight. I remember when certain people were predicting that he would KO Klitschko....:lol::lol:

I never said he would lay out Wlad, though with Wlads weak chin anythings possible. Both Rahman and Ruiz were at least two time title holders, and have been in the Heavyweights top 10 list for the last 6 years, while not world beater, they were certainly top Heavyweights in the division when Toney fought them.

    Good point!

Toney was lucky to be declared the winner of his encounter with Batchelder.

Haven't seen Peter fight in a while since the 2nd Toney fight, but wouldn't be surprised to see him lose to a Virchis, given McCline had him down a few times.

I guess Virchis has shown he's knockout-able by the overrated power of Peter?

Virchis has one loss, and that was by decision. Peter won't be knocking him out..........(but then again, I said Peter would not knock Oleg out, too...so what do I know? )

Virchis seems to have a pretty good chin and serious pop, but his overall boxing ability is a good bit worse than Peters, believe it or not. I could really see Peter outboxing this guy, similar to what he did to Toney the second time around, I feel Gomez would be a tougher fight for Peter.
