Seriously, what is there not to like about this guy? He has good power, he's a big heavyweight, and he comes to fight. Wlad is one of my favorite fighters, in any division, but I've become an even bigger fan of Sam Peter in the last 2 years, especially after his fight with Wlad. I, for one, will be rooting for Peter to dethrone Wlad when they fight again, not because I hate Wlad, because I don't, but I think the heavyweight division would be exciting(More so) having Sam Peter as the undisputed heavyweight champion! But first...............

He has to knock out Maskaev! :yep (Which I believe he will do)

Anyone think he will have any trouble with Maskaev? If he gets by Maskaev, how do you see his chances at beating Wlad?

I agree with what your post said, Peter is arguably the most exciting Heavyweight at the moment, something the division has lacked for quite awhile now, he's extremely powerful, good chin, and better personality than any other title holder at this time.

Peter is a tough fight for anyone, a fully prepared Peter is a very dangerous man, if taken lightly, can put you in a coma with his overhand right.

if peter gets through maskaev, vitali looms. even if that fight falls through, i doubt king and duva would risk their belt against wlad. more likely, they will wait for valuev to beat the white tyson and have a peter-valuev fight. don king wins either way. it wont matter though, peter's reign would be a very short one

right now, id make wlad a 85-15 favorite.

    :patsch

Bro, he's a limited, superstitious, porker with bad focus and hardly any true finishing instinct. There's plenty not to like. If he squeaks by Maskaev it's only a matter of time before some other crappy heavyweight makes their name by soundly thrashing Peter.

no doubt about it. he's fun to watch. Rounds 11 and 12 against wlad and round 3 with mccline were loads of fun :p

especially when he shakes his head after getting hit by wlad's right hand. much better than trying to avoid it :yep

remember, he has "tysonesque" head movement. see my sig if u dont believe me

u might want to hold off on that talk til your boy wins tomorrow.

All you haters will be silenced tomorrow night, when Peter lands the murderous overhand right on Maskaevs chin, and Maskaev ends up laying on the canvas for minutes before he actually wakes up. This is the fight that will put Sam Peter atop the Heavyweight division, fight fans get your kleenex ready, this will be exciting.

Why would i want to do that, david haye is an exciting fighter so surely thats what is best for a dull as **** heavyweight division. I am not saying he clears out the heavyweight division i am just responding to what the title of the thread stated.

I like watching the Sam Peter, he's got good power, he aggressive and establishes a mean presence in the ring. He is limited however, quite the lumbering sort of footwork, not the straightest of punchers, and long periods of inactivity due to stamina issues. Don't really know why anyone would think he is better for the division than Klitschko because he could never be anywhere near as dominant as Wlad can.
I am looking forward to seeing this 'fully prepared' version I've been hearing about lately, hope it doesn't turn out to be a disappointment like New Coke was.

Are you remotely fuccin serious?????????

Can't believe I need to do this for a 74th time... but here goes just the same:

Vitaly Klitschko will NOT fight again. He is DAMAGED GOODS and can't make it through a few days of a training camp for cripes sake. He is injured, old and hasn't fought in 4 years. MOVE ON ALREADY.

    It would be more exciting

However, it would also leave me with the feeling of 'How the **** is this fat joker heavyweight champ of the world'

Oh well, if we see anymore jab and hug shows from Wlad bring it on

"Seriously, what is there not to like about this guy?"

He is O.k but he is just an above average HW IMO-boring!

No big wins and three fights ago fought a guy with a 14-7 record and that was his only KO in his last 6 fights-big deal!
