Peter, while not as skilled, is more exciting to watch then Wlad, assuming Wlad continues to fight how he did vs. Oleg.

I disagree. why would a fat heavyweight, with average skill, rabbit punches, and one ko in his last five fights (over Julius Long) be a better champ?

If the alternative is a gun shy tall HW who's afraid to engage with much smaller fighters...I'll take the fat guy.

Sam Peters exciting to watch, and has an extreme amount of power, thats not afraid to go punch for punch with his oppenents, unlike Wlad who panics, clinches, or falls when a decent punch hits him, now he wont even throw his right hand in case it's countered, because his chins so weak, that's not the type of a Heavyweight I want to see in the ring.

WLAD is the best guy for the division. Typically he's an offensive force of domination, is well spoken, educated, charitable, just great for the sport.

I will agree with the sloppy punching part, but hug for hug, I cant see. Peter is always willing to go punch for punch with his oppenents, even against Mccline after being knocked down, a round or two later he traded punches with him, do you see Wlad doing that? I dont.

Is Skelton any worse than McCline? And was Chagaev not coming off the wins over Ruiz, Virchis and Valuev. Also Ruiz and Valuev are not low-skilled fighters, and Virchis, while limited, is an unholy banger.

Didn't Wlad also stop McCline? All this talk about Peter being more exciting, but his best KO is of Jeremy Williams and the last opponent he stopped was Julius Long. Fine it will be a big win for him if he beats Maskaev, but Oleg has been KO'd five times so knocking him out doesn't prove that Sam is a big puncher. This mythical power you and your fellow Peter fanboys keep on talking about just hasn't materialized. Hell Povetkin has shown more power in stopping Byrd, and therefore actually stopping someone with a known chin, than Peter has against the guys he has fought.

Wait last I checked Povetkin has the same KO percentage as Peter, but against a higher level of opposition. You base Povetkin being "easy to hit" off of his fight with Chambers, a young, motivated, fast defensive boxer, in a fight he basically dominated for all but one round. Your boy hasn't KO'd a solid fighter, Povetkin has in Byrd, and your boy needed two goes to legitimately beat a shot former middleweight in Toney. He has proven, time and time again to be easy to hit, he isn't fast and he isn't mobile.

Also your attitude towards other posters is ****ed.

Wlad did stop Mccline, but that was 02, Wlad at that time was looked at as invincible, and noone discovered his weak chin at the time, at least not until almost a year later when Sanders destroyed him, Mccline fought a very passive fight, and Wlad was able to tire him and stop a gassed out Mccline by the 10th or 11th round. Peter on the other hand, came into the match on 9 days notice and no time to work with a sparring partner that mirrors Mccline's size and style.

You must look at the oppenents Peter has fought, Toney has one of the best chins of all time, it would of took alot to put him away, give Peter credit though, he knocked him down and had at a point where Toney was severely rocked, where he had to hold on to the ropes to stay on his feet. Povetkin knocked out an old beat up Bryd, who not too long removed from being knocked out by Wlad, Peter would of done the same, if not faster than Povetkin did.

Did Peter stop McCline? Did Peter stop Toney? No, nuff said. Wlad stopped McCline after he was tired, wasn't McCline tired against Peter too and Sammy boy couldn't even put him down. Wasn't Toney shot, yet Peter couldn't hurt the slob of a former middleweight.

So I am a Wlad fan boy for pointing out that he actually stopped McCline? That makes tons of sense. I am well aware that Wlad has been stopped, I am also aware that he has dominated and stopped more quality foes than Peter.

Povetkin has also dominated and stopped more quality foes than Peter, and despite only having 15 fights has fought much better opposition overall. Also we know Peter has been unable to KO quality foes, we also know that Povetkin has been able to stop a quality opponent, so based on those results it makes more sense that Povetkin will see his KO percentage remain the same.

Your boy already lost to Wlad, would lose to Chagaev, most likely by stoppage, and I believe would probably lose to Povetkin, Valuev and Virchis.
