I think Wlad dented that chin of Peters. Ever since he faced Wlad he's been getting wobbled by punches and even put on his ass by Jameel McCline who isn't even known as a big puncher. And Peters corner seemed really concerned about him getting hit with the right hand. Peter got better but he still has way too many flaws to beat Wlad IMO. He was open all night for the left hook and that's one of the punches that Wlad seriously hurt him with in like the 11th round. Wlad would win by KO this time. But I'd advise Wlad to get a metal plate surgically put in the back of his head because Peter loves to throw those rabbit punches! :bbb

McCline knocked him down and Oleg rocked him a few times. I also agree with you on the rabbit punches.

I didn't really see him get wobbled against Maskaev, it looked a lot like balance issues, but again I could be wrong.
What is strange is that he got hit with a nasty overhand right that Peter didn't see and Peter didn't budge and came back with his own.. But there were other punches that didnt seem that hard that i dont know if he got stunned or if he was off balance.

    Nope.

It was a left hook that landed high on the shoulder and Sam stumbled backwards and was completely fine.

Look. The replay showed Maskaev landing his sunday punch, the hard right hand counter. Sam didn't flinch. So let's drop this **** already.

I wouldn't be surprised. I have the fight against Peter on DVD and everytime I watch it I'm surprised Peter didn't go down. He got hit with a lot of right hands.

No Peter was definetly hurt dude.. Obviously you're a big peter fan because i see you're defending him whenever someone says the truth about him. I will post it on here as soon as its on youtube. Sam Peter stumbled back and was hurt. For you to say he didnt flinch is absurd.

Sam has a solid chin. Wlad didn't sit down on his punches against Peter like he has done in other fights. He clearly didn't want to over commit and leave himself vulnerable to counters.... which was a problem of Wlad's going into that fight. Manny had to fix Wlad's balance when punching. Sometimes he would just lean too far forward extending his right hand, and would be on one foot, completely vulnerable. Like you saw in the TOS fight, where he got knocked off balance doing the same thing.

However, Wlad did hit Peter clean, and Peter took them all... even though he was hurt in the 12th. After that fight, you don't need to doubt his chin. All fighters get hurt, especially fighting these hard hitting heavies. It isn't the chin, it is the punches.

McCline has underrated power, he put Byrd, Brock, and now Peter on the canvas hard, hes just a shitty finisher. Peter is not chinny, for some reason fans dont want a power punching champion. Stop griping.

Yeah i definetly agree with you.. I was very impressed with his chin against Wlad because Wlad was hitting him with some clean straight rights and Peter didn't flinch until the 12th round. But to me it seems like after facing Wlad and getting hit with those shots his chin isnt as solid as it was before and during the fight with Wlad. Because cmon lets be honest McCline isnt a big puncher despite how big he is and he knocked Peter down numerous times and had him hurt.
