sam peters never gets a title in Tyson's period. he only got a look in because of the weakest of the weak era, where the dominant HW can get wiped out instantly by a 37 year old retired nobody.
He told me Peters was a better puncher than Tyson. I asked him multiple times, name me these quality opponents Peter Ko'd to be mentioned in the same breath as Tyson He had no answer. If he had, i would have showed him who Tyson ko'd and asked him to compare. But, we didnt even get that far
Why have people been so unable, from a decade ago when he broke onto the scene on through present day, years after he retired - to grasp that his last name doesn't end with an "S"? :huh
No, you've never seen it spelled that way except by a minority of fans who are either stupid, trolling, or confused by seeing it spelled both ways. Look at his Boxrec page, or Wikipedia, or his archived profile on Don King's website, or the introductory graphic on ANY broadcast of ANY of his televised professional fights. All "Sam Peter". You'll also never hear a ring announcer or commentator or anyone in the boxing world in any interview on Youtube refer to him as "Sam Peters". The only time you would ever see "Sam Peters" is on internet forums. That should be a more than adequate hint that "Sam Peters" is wrong.
I aint trolling, to be honest, ive seen it spelt both ways by various people and secondly....i dont really care :nut
Come on, use your brain. You've seen it spelled Peters a minority of times, and only ever on internet forums. His name has never been "Samuel Peters". If a couple of people online start writing "Iron Mike Tiesun" are you going to get confused and start using that spelling?
