Sexton kos big larry with the 1st clean punch he lands on him.

 

I'm actually rather looking forward to this

 

Unless they have done some serious work on Larry`s technique he will lose this and lose it badly.

 

Rogan is a more refined version of Larry and he got well and truely done by Sexton.

This is a mismatch.

 

This is the sort of fight our heavyweights should be in when they aren't in the biggest bouts. The British hw scene has depth, but the promoters need to be willing to make the fights.

Someone is getting banged out in this one.

The one thing stopping me from shoving an absolute fortune on Sexton by KO is knowing that Larry has a definite puncher's chance in this one. Sexton hasn't been particularly active and always looks vulnerable.....

 

I like sexton! Hes a decent heavyweight but he sometimes fallls asleep in fights

 

The British heavyweight scene is ****ing great. Not in terms of skill, but in terms of depth, and excitement. If promoted correctly, on the correct channels, it could get people into boxing again. I've been saying for a long time, that we need a tournament like the super six, but involving British heavyweights.

Get Audley, Price, Furey, McDermott, Chisora, Sexton, Rogan etc into a knockout tournament where the fat *******s can just knock lumps out of each other. It won't happen but it would be good.

As for Sexton, dude seems to be an intelligent boxer. I was impressed with him against Rogan.

 

Chisora was beating Sexton handily, not sure what you're on about there.

I'd had a few beers but I seem to remember Sexton doing alright early on but gradually being worn down and stopped once Chisora realised he could walk through whatever was coming back.

I agree with ero, a tourney of some sorts would be good for the division, establish a bit of a pecking order beneath Fury and Chisora at the top. We still don't have a clue how good David Price is, other than that he's way better than a few Latvian clowns and Tom Dallas - who was exposed by Zack Page..... whereas the likes of Sexton would probably jump at an immediate opportunity to get back in.

You are great to watch and rarely in a bad fight but your tank always lets you down.

The win over Rogan was great but it was over Rogan who is not great!

If You win this one a fight with Dallas would be good.
