I haven't heard anything about him being cleared, but I just stumbled across this story, though it's from his site:

So then the IBF lab results came back negative, but the BDB refuses to accept it?

As I expected from day one, Team Sturm pulling out all the stops to protect their fighter and get another payday. Absolutely disgusting behavior but by boxing standards nothing to see. 9 month ban for Soliman based on nothing.

Where are all the voices shaming Soliman and calling him a drug cheat? This case was so obvious from the start.

I read at the scene the IBF don't test for the PED Sam failed the test for.

No... It seems that Soliman had his B sample tested under different rules. He already admitted that he took the PEDs! Although he said it was by accident because an energy drink was "mired" with it. Suddenly he has nothing in his blood? Who the **** should belive this?
But well I wait until the IBF says something official.

Well apparantly IBF didn't test for it.

They let Lamont get away with taking testosterone for "therapeutic" purposes which in reality would mean his levels would be between 1-2 not conveniently slightly under the limit allowed which was 4.

Whole thing is bs, guy takes a Red Bull and Sturm wants the fight annulled. Give me a break.

“Scott has written that he is prepared to swear under oath to the IBF that the samples tested are clear of any banned substances based upon the explicit and mutually agreed terms of this bout.”

So he tested positive for something but not what was specifically mentioned in the contract? That just sounds shady.

I'm no great fan of Sturm but Soliman took PEDs.

...... and those calling Sturm or his team should maybe watch this

Oxilofrine is not banned by the IBF. It is not on their list of banned substances.

"Pütz owns Pütz Security,” the German source said.

    Fine detective work there.
