Shirley these two boxers can't give interviews on radio and in papers describing there upcoming fight as a stepping stone to future big fights with world champions. This is outrageous and an utter disgrace to the fans. Who started this rubbish as a way of putting bums on seats, what the ****, do these fighters think it's a ****in business. Don't they realise that getting punched in the head and risking brain injuries and death is about legacies not dirty stinkin money. What a ****in liberty. ;)

I don't want to see Geale fight any of these 2 unless they become his mandatory.

I am a massive sammy fan from way back. Not sure hpw is fighting thes days but if he beats a hungry wood id say he's in decent nick and would give geale an interesting fight

Sam Soliman is a warrior. Hope he wins and smokes Geale out of his hole.

The reason Geale dont get those other fights is because he has no show.

**** me as a geale supporter im very disappointed this title is his ticket to mix it with the big players in the division, id be chasing a macklin or pirog fight overseas, this would set him up if he wins for major recognition twin belt holder if he fights pirog and then why the hell not can't he fight chavez or martinez in a big money fight in the states its all about brand recognition and no one overseas cares about Sam soliman or Garth wood, id only fight adama and then make my move, short window of opportunity to make money and he's not getting any younger doubt his style will hold up in 5 years time

    Tend to agree.
I'm not sure why so many are putting **** on Sam, he's alright and would put up an ok scrap with Geale.
Geale would win comfortably, but like you said, it's alright as a keep busy fight between grabbing belts.

As for Sam VS Garth, Sam will smack him senseless.

BTW, I couldn't see the article Stiffy posted for some reason, but why are most assuming that Geale will fight the winner of Sam VS Garth anyhow?

Aside for a keep busy fight, why would he?

It seems some are disappointed/pissed off from something which may not even eventuate.

I think Geale still has those big fights on his radar

However to keep his belt he also has to fight his mandatorys

Sam with his last 2 wins has gotten himself to No 2 in the IBF

Maybe Ray has sanctioned this fight as the winner becoming No 1 and in line for the IBF title fight

I think Sam has earned his shot with his last few wins

Sam has strung 5 dominant wins in a row together and has been stiff with fights like the Simon fight falling over on him.

It may not eventuate Soliman just hopes it does. I just hope Daniel doesn't fight any of these 2 guys unless he has too. **** fights and I would rather he try his hand overseas if he fails he fails don't want to see him take the Mundine route.

    Thanks for posting.

Ok, so it's more a pipe dream for Sammy.
But as a couple just above have said, he has done very well in his last few fights, so it wouldn't probably be as bad as some others make out.
