I was just looking at the tale of the tape stats of soliman vs Winky Wright and it shows Soliman at weigh in at 159 pds then on fight day 158 pds.

I was wondering do you guys think he could cut weight to compete at some lower weight classes?

And how low could he have gotten?

Soliman i feel could have definitely fought down at Junior Middleweight consistently.
I dunno if he could make that weight now...

There's no good reason he should have dropped that low except for sickness or a very poor coach.

B-Hop knows his weight throughout his camp...

Who would Soliman be matching against at 154 in Australia? All the good money fights were with Mundine and against super middleweights on The Contender.

I reckon he could have got lower, Junior Middle would have been alright for him back in the day but at the moment I still think middleweight is the weight for Soliman.

He fought Bones at jnr middle in his mid 20's.

Surely could have done again but he did lose that fight by some margin.

Maybe he just felt he would be better suited at 160. Sam was truly unorthodox, he defied convention. The Winky fight was one his best performances, I honestly think that he just got in the best shape he could and coming in light was the product of that.
