As Ty has said, there is no way he would be getting paid more for fighting Taylor than he would for fighting Golovkin. You couldn't blame Solomon for taking an easy fight as a title defence, but fighting a shot fighter with a heavy brain injury sustained previously in the ring - I am struggling to find a justification for that.
