I think it will happen. one BIG reason i do is because Mayweather fighting anybody else expect for Pacquaio on Cinco De Mayo cant compre to Cotto-Canelo at all!! His ego would gety hurt when Oscar says "Sorry Floyd, we got a money maker right here, fight another time"!!

Plus Mayweather has fought everyone in his era and Pac is the last one left. it'll happen

it'll still be the elephant in the room for the rest of their careers (Floyd's especially)
those two fighting next year will be the equivalent of someone cutting your leg off, and then putting a band aid on it

Hope it happens, they better stack the undercard also, they better not think they can throw this fight at us with out a good undercard. Maybe jmm vs porter, lucas vs rios, Provo vs garcia. Should be a tr vs gb card

Uh? The fight will still do 3 mil buys and wether ppl like it or not. Pac is still p4p a p4p fighter and I guess #2 at WW. Those are facts.

PPL can say Mayweather wiated till Pac got old but umm....MAYWEATHER IS OLDER!! and Mayweather was the olny one that actually pushed for the fight, not Pac.

The only reason it MIGHT happen is because they both need each other now more than ever. Neither seems to have a sure 1mill+ PPV dance partner.

Both of their numbers will continue to plummet and the powers that be will finally
realize this fight needs to get made( a little too late though).

GB always stacks acards son! Hopefully Arum doesnt say he wants undercar spots, he says he hates undercards!

Honestly if they didnt stack the card it would still do 3 mil buys but GB cares about the fans

Mayweather numbers dont go down its pac's that does. he hasnt been fighting anybody really good lately, thats why. even if ppl want to say 800K+ buys for Mayweather-maidana isnt great, Mayweather hasnt always done a mil buys all the time. hyes hovers around that and does 1+ when he has another good partner

Yo but Maidana rematch has a fairly weak undercard.

2.5 seems to be the cap. I doubt Pac will bring more PPVs than DLH and Canelo, especially after KTFO6 and with both fighters not at their peak anymore.

Pacquiao could get KO'd twice more and still bring more than Canelo :rofl

Maybe u think its weak. everybody thought the Matthysse-Molina card was all weak and cherry picked too and that card was awesome!

watching Cruz and is always awesome. Angulo on it when he just headlined a PPV is good too

you beat them to it :good
what "the facts" will show is that they didn't fight each other at the height of their powers, regardless of if they fight next year, or if they postpone it again because one could not dictate to the other (like they can against everybody else)

Actually the only match that I think is good on paper is Bey v Vasquez. It'll probably be a stinker but it will be interesting because they are both good boxers.
